A serious accident involving a van and a bus left several injured in the Almagro neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Colombres and Quito streets. A Mercedes Benz Sprinter van overturned after colliding with a Line 2 bus that was in service at the time.
According to sources cited by Noticias Argentinas, the driver of the van and a passenger from the bus were injured in the crash and were taken to Durand and Ramos Mejía hospitals, respectively.
Firefighters from the City of Buenos Aires arrived at the scene to assist those involved. Fortunately, the other individuals were able to exit the vehicles on their own.
As a precaution, the electrical supply to both vehicles was cut off during the cleanup operations.
